PARADIGMA PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI DI SEKOLAH PERLU PERUBAHAN

Menyikapi implementasi pembelajaran geografi di sekolah, sudah saatnya dilakukan perubahan paradigmanya. Paradigma yang berkembang di sekolah sudah tidak lagi sesuai dengan pendidikan di abad ke 21 ini. Perubahan yang perlu dilakukan adalah: from teacher center to student center, from teaching for testing to learning for continous improvement, from learning material to learning activities, from paper test to authentic assesment, from mono intelligence to multiple intelligences, from cunsumer to creator.

Perubahan paradigma ini akan menjadikan siswa lebih aktif, cerdas, dan peduli pada perubahan, termasuk perubahan dirinya.
